Invisible College public talk - Tim Edensor, 23.3.2012
Great lecture by Tim Edensor, author of the book "Industrial Ruins - Space, Aesthetics and Materiality". Filmed and organised by NVA for the Invisible College project.
My work investigates the experience of architectural space through the medium of painting. Focusing upon ambiguous spaces on the edges of the built environment, indeterminate and ruinous locations become subject matter for a painting practice which mines equally marginal territories; transgressing between abstract/representational, accidental/intentional and constructive/destructive approaches to image making.
This blog documents my recent work as it unfolds, alongside collected texts and other relevant imagery.
